What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level Cyber Strategy Analyst opportunity supporting government and public-sector transformation initiatives. You will work on client teams to assess cyber risk, support security strategy development, and help implement organizational and operational changes that improve resilience and align security programs with business goals.

Primary responsibilities:

• Support cyber strategy, risk assessments, and security posture reviews for public-sector clients
• Analyze technical and operational controls and produce clear, actionable recommendations
• Leverage tools, methodologies, and accelerators to help project teams meet strategic objectives
• Assist with research, data analysis, and preparation of client-ready presentations and deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support transformation efforts across strategy, operations, and technology
• Help document processes, create implementation roadmaps, and track remediation actions
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications (Required)

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university (expected graduation by Summer 2027) OR completed bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Security, Mathematics, Risk Management, or equivalent
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Must reside within a commutable distance (e.g., ~100-mile radius) of the assigned office with ability to commute daily, if required
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average depending on client needs
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at time of employment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on teams
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor; ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• GPA of 3.4 or higher
• Internship, project, or coursework experience in cybersecurity, information security, data analytics, information systems, risk management, or related fields
• Familiarity with cyber risk frameworks, threat modeling, or security assessments
• Basic scripting or data-analysis skills (Python, R, SQL) and comfort working with technical teams

You will join a Government & Public Services consulting practice serving federal, state, local, higher-education, and nonprofit clients. Teams collaborate across strategy, operations, and technology to help clients improve mission outcomes and organizational performance. This role offers hands-on client exposure, mentorship, and opportunities to develop a consulting skill set in cyber strategy and resilience.

Compensation & Logistics

• Estimated salary range: $88,000 to $91,000 (reasonable estimate; final offer depends on skills, experience, and other factors)

• This is an entry-level role intended for candidates beginning or building a career in cyber strategy
• Note: candidates must be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance and travel as required
