What You’ll Do
As an Entry‑Level Cyber Analyst with the Confidential Client you'll support cybersecurity analysis, documentation, testing, and risk tracking while gaining hands‑on experience with modern and AI‑enabled tools.
- Develop an understanding of the client's industry, organization, technology landscape, and cybersecurity objectives
- Build trusted relationships by asking thoughtful questions and communicating clearly
- Collaborate with clients and cross‑functional teams to gather, validate, and document business, functional, and technical requirements
- Analyze systems, applications, processes, and data to identify vulnerabilities, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Support functional and integrated testing to confirm solutions meet business and security requirements
- Track and report operational risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
- Create and maintain project deliverables such as analysis summaries, reports, user documentation, meeting minutes, user stories, test scripts, and workflows
- Work with technical stakeholders and end users to ensure security considerations are understood and incorporated into solutions
- Assist with evaluating, deploying, integrating, and maintaining software applications, cybersecurity tools, and IT services across lab and production environments
- Communicate findings and recommendations in clear, non‑technical language for cross‑functional audiences
- Use AI‑enabled workplace tools responsibly to organize data, identify trends, and support analysis tasks (with appropriate human oversight)
- Support broader project activities such as usability reviews, training materials, and other lifecycle deliverables
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field) or equivalent exposure to cybersecurity concepts
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD / Public Trust clearance
- Curiosity, professionalism, and a strong desire for continuous learning
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex information
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex ideas for broad audiences
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
- Exposure to cybersecurity topics, security best practices, AI‑enabled tools, or general technology topics through coursework, internships, projects, competitions, or self‑study (preferred but not required)
- Interest in learning and responsibly using automation and modern cybersecurity technologies to support analysis and delivery
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated salary range: $52,200 - $95,700 per year (reasonable estimate; final offer depends on experience, skills, and other factors)
