Customer Service Technician
The Customer Service Technician supports sales and production teams in a PCB manufacturing setting by managing customer inquiries, order processing, and communication between customers and internal departments. What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level Customer Service Technician role supporting sales and production teams in a PCB manufacturing environment. You will be the primary point of contact for customer questions about orders and will help ensure clear, timely communication between customers and internal teams.
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email
- Assist with order entry, status updates, tracking, and follow-ups to ensure timely delivery
- Review customer-provided documents for completeness and request missing information when needed
- Communicate order status, changes, and issues to customers and internal teams (sales, production, engineering)
- Help resolve order discrepancies, delivery issues, and general customer concerns
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and order updates in internal systems
- Support sales with follow-ups, quotes, and account assistance
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Follow company procedures, quality standards, and customer-specific requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience in PCB manufacturing or the electronics industry is a plus
- Previous customer service or order-entry experience
Additional Requirements
- This role is in an ITAR-compliant facility. All employees must meet ITAR eligibility requirements (ability to work on US export-controlled projects).
- Employment eligibility to work in the United States is required.
