About the Role
Confidential Client in the Accounting & Finance industry is hiring an Entry‑Level Customer Service Representative to join their on‑site team in Maine (ME). This role is a full‑time, in‑office position focused on delivering outstanding client service, supporting general agency operations, and preparing toward an insurance license and a career as a licensed insurance agent.
What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly, professional service that exceeds client expectations.
- Answer incoming phone calls and greet walk‑in clients; direct or assist clients as needed.
- Handle client billing inquiries and complete billing transactions accurately.
- Maintain agency files and perform accurate data entry.
- Provide general office support across departments to keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Proactively take on new responsibilities and participate in training toward insurance licensing.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s in business, finance, or related field preferred).
- Experience in a customer service role delivering high‑quality service.
- Willingness to obtain a state insurance license upon hiring (or already licensed).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable with basic sales processes and client‑focused conversations.
- Proficiency with computers and eagerness to learn agency systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Dependable availability for a 40‑hour on‑site work week and punctual attendance.
- Positive, professional demeanor and genuine desire to help people.
