Customer Service Representative I
The Support Specialist provides high-quality customer service and technical support for PaySchools products, including Online Payment solutions and QuikLunch POS, primarily through phone and email. This role involves diagnosing and resolving customer issues, delivering training, and supporting hardware installation and repairs to ensure a positive user experience for school district clients.

What You’ll Do
This Customer Service Representative I (Support Specialist) role provides phone, email, and remote support for point-of-sale (POS), online payments, and school meal software. Responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate a customer-first approach and deliver high-quality support.
- Provide email and phone support for PaySchools products, including Online Payment solutions and QuikLunch POS.
- Maintain high availability for support contact and respond promptly to inquiries from customers, business partners, and internal teams.
- Use phone, email, and remote tools to investigate and resolve technical and account issues.
- Diagnose underlying causes of customer or performance issues and suggest preventative measures.
- Create and maintain documentation to speed future problem resolution.
- Achieve Subject Matter Expert (SME) level on at least two software products.
- Provide training and live support for QuikLunch POS, QuikApps, and online payments.
- Configure QuikLunch item/button layouts and perform basic hardware installation, repair, and support.
- Other tasks as directed by the Support Manager.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum qualifications and required traits:
- High school graduation required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working on a computer and familiar with Microsoft Office.
- Well organized with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent customer service skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to learn software products to SME level and deliver live training/support.
