What You’ll Do

Under routine supervision, you will support execution of customer freight orders to meet volume goals and deliver exceptional service. You will be a primary point of contact for assigned customers and work closely with operations to ensure on-time, damage-free delivery and accurate billing.

  • Promote positive customer relationships through regular engagement and solution-oriented communication to maximize freight potential and customer growth.
  • Monitor shipments and support on-time delivery, damage prevention, and correct billing.
  • Proactively respond to internal and external customer inquiries by checking load status and resolving service issues.
  • Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with a focus on optimizing transit time and meeting customer expectations.
  • Enter and maintain order information in the order management system to track loads and provide accurate data to operations teams.
  • Obtain and document approval for accessorial charges and spot rates when required.
  • Serve as a point of contact for capacity availability and load updates.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Up to 1–2 years of customer service or sales experience, OR a bachelor’s degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to transmit and interpret information across channels.
  • Ability to adapt to new processes and changing priorities.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with difficult or escalated customers.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Customer-centric attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated pay: $70,106 per year (estimated). Actual starting pay may vary based on skills, experience, education, and geography.
  • This role may be eligible for annual bonus and incentive programs based on company performance and plan terms.
  • Benefits for full-time employees may include: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, short- and long-term disability, paid time off (vacation and sick time), parental leave (maternity and parental leave as described by the client), and paid holidays.
