What You’ll Do

This full-time role supports a confidential client in the Trade & Construction industry by managing customer delivery appointments and working with internal teams to ensure on-time service. Under close supervision you will handle day-to-day scheduling tasks, customer communications, and basic clerical duties to help maximize customer satisfaction.

  • Accurately schedule and reschedule loads awarded by customers using the proper reason codes
  • Track trailer pools and empty availability to determine feasible appointment windows
  • Provide documentation to validate and resolve customer disputes
  • Monitor freight for potential resets/reschedules to avoid penalties and maintain service levels
  • Resolve appointment requests for key customers with delivery dates in locked-out areas
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers and internal business segments
  • Communicate with customers to verify orders, confirm delivery requirements, and schedule appointments

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1–2 years of relevant work experience (customer service, logistics, scheduling, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred fields: Business Administration, Business Communications)
  • Strong phone communication skills across all mediums
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Able to handle occasional stressful situations while maintaining professionalism

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated pay (as shown in source): $43,116 per year (estimated)
  • Pay factors: skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications
  • May be eligible for annual bonus/incentives per company plan
