Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Customer Contract Administrator to support contract review, execution, and compliance for capital equipment and related commercial agreements. This is a W2 contract role (onsite in San Diego, CA) supporting a Medical Devices Company; ideal for detail-oriented candidates with 1–3 years of general contract experience.


What You’ll Do

  • Interact and proactively communicate with multiple MMS Dispensing and cross-functional teams.
  • Review and audit all contract package components to ensure completeness and compliance.
  • Execute and process complete contractual packages (pre- and post-signature workflows).
  • Maintain current knowledge of product offerings, policies, purchase acquisition programs, and marketing programs.
  • Apply working knowledge of US Antitrust, HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, internal audit procedures, and regulatory controls as they pertain to contracts.
  • Support pre- and post-signature capital contracting processes: acceptance, performance, installation, billing/revenue management, leasing/purchasing, and asset management.
  • Apply a general understanding of capital equipment revenue recognition and related accounting principles.
  • Identify contract risks and escalate non-conforming items; enforce necessary pre-execution requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (relevant experience may substitute).
  • 1–3 years of general contract or contract administration experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft apps and CRM platforms (MS Teams, Excel, SharePoint, Salesforce, SAP).
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all business levels.
  • Ability to manage complex tasks independently and provide thoughtful recommendations.
  • Basic understanding of commercial contracting processes including pricing, quoting, billing/invoicing, and policy development.

Details & Logistics

  • Location: San Diego, CA — onsite.
  • Employment type: Contract (W2).
  • Duration: 7+ months.
  • Schedule: M–F, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (1st shift).
  • Rate: $25–$30 per hour.
  • Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or holders of valid work authorization such as EAD/OPT/CPT).
