Overview

Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is seeking a Customer Contract Admin Analyst to support capital contracting and contract compliance for an IT function supporting medical devices. This is an onsite, 6-month W2 contract in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on contract package execution, audit review, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional coordination.


What You’ll Do

  • Support the full contract lifecycle for capital equipment contracts (pre- and post-signature activities)
  • Review contract packages for completeness and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Execute contractual packages and maintain accurate contract records
  • Coordinate and proactively communicate with multiple teams (sales, installation, billing/revenue, asset management)
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, acquisition programs, and company procedures
  • Identify and escalate contractual or compliance risks as needed
  • Apply basic principles of revenue recognition and related accounting impacts for capital equipment
  • Use CRM and document systems (Salesforce, SAP, SharePoint, MS Teams) to track status and documentation

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of contract administration or contract support experience (entry-level to early-career)
  • AA or Bachelor’s degree preferred (relevant experience may substitute)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel), SharePoint, MS Teams; familiarity with Salesforce and SAP is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, data-entry accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication; able to communicate at all business levels
  • Working knowledge of compliance topics (HIPAA basics, antitrust awareness, Sarbanes–Oxley/internal audit controls) preferred
  • Ability to manage complex tasks independently and make clear recommendations

Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay rate: $25.00–$30.00 per hour (W2 contract) — hourly range as posted
  • Duration: 6 months (contract)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, typical hours 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (onsite, San Diego, CA)
  • Employment type: Contract (W2). Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. (US citizens, Green Card holders, or those with valid EAD/OPT/CPT)

  • Work location: Onsite in San Diego, CA (Downtown area)
  • This role requires the ability to work onsite and comply with client site policies
  • Acceptable work authorization: US citizens, permanent residents (Green Card), Employment Authorization Document (EAD), OPT/CPT where applicable
