Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a CT Technologist I (Per Diem, Variable Shift) to join their imaging team in Marina Del Rey, CA. This is an entry-level/early-career CT role supporting routine CT exams with opportunities to assist on more complex studies under supervision. The role requires strong patient care skills, attention to imaging quality and safety, and compliance with departmental protocols.


What You’ll Do

  • Perform CT exams using approved procedures and protocols, maintaining speed, organization, precision and accuracy.
  • Follow CT safety policies, guidelines and departmental protocols.
  • Receive and transcribe verbal orders from licensed independent practitioners per scope of practice.
  • Preview CT images for accuracy and send images to designated viewing systems; perform section-specific QC.
  • Prepare and administer CT medications following hospital medication safety guidelines.
  • Operate, calibrate and maintain CT imaging equipment; report defective equipment immediately.
  • Maintain room supply inventory and adhere to sterilization protocols.
  • Input accurate and timely documentation into electronic medical records.
  • Provide patient and family education appropriate to age and demographics.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and continuing education.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic program (Associate degree minimum; Bachelor’s preferred).
  • 2 years of CT experience preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology.
  • Strong communication, cultural competency and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work variable shifts including weekends.

Licenses & Certifications

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, R.T.(R)
  • ARRT R.T.(CT)
  • California Radiologic Technologist license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
