• Shifts: 24/7 shift schedule — must be able to work night/weekend rotation

What you’ll do

• Provide 24/7 security monitoring and alert triage for CSSP under senior analyst guidance (ON-SITE REQUIRED)
• Monitor security dashboards, logs, and alerts for potential incidents
• Perform initial alert triage, document findings, and escalate incidents to senior analysts
• Record and maintain investigation notes, case records, and tickets in the ticketing system
• Support log review and routine monitoring activities
• Maintain weekly backups as required by CRG VPN testing guidelines
• Complete on-the-job experience (OJE) training within the required timeframe and learn CSSP toolsets and procedures under mentorship

Required qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship
• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or equivalent demonstrating security fundamentals
• DoD 8140 / Cyber Defensive Analyst (Basic) Playlist qualification
• Basic understanding of network security concepts and security monitoring
• Familiarity with security monitoring tools (SIEM exposure is helpful)
• Strong attention to detail for alert monitoring and documentation
• Ability to work a 24/7 shift schedule and remain on-site as required
• Good written communication skills and willingness to learn additional certifications

Preferred qualifications

• Security+, Network+, or similar foundational certification
• Prior internship, co-op, or practical coursework in cybersecurity
• Hands-on familiarity with SIEM tools and incident response procedures
• Experience with ticketing systems and log review processes
• Coursework or degree in cybersecurity, IT, computer science, or related field

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
• Certifications: CEH (or equivalent), DoD 8140 Cyber Defensive Analyst (Basic) Playlist; Security+ and Network+ are preferred
