What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Customer Service Representative I (CSR I) to deliver a high-quality customer experience across order channels. This role is the primary point of contact for customers, supporting order processing, issue resolution, and coordination with internal teams to drive customer satisfaction and profitable growth.

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently across multiple channels in real time
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers — provide timely order, pricing, product, and delivery information
  • Coordinate with Operations, Sales, Purchasing, and Credit teams to support order fulfillment and resolve exceptions
  • Track and resolve backorders, delivery deviations, and order exceptions while keeping customers informed
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products, order adjustments, or promotions within guidelines
  • Support basic sales activities by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Maintain accurate customer account records and complete required documentation and reports
  • Communicate professionally to build and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Follow all safety, regulatory, and operational procedures

Who You Are (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1+ years of face-to-face customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication and active listening skills
  • Comfortable using computers and standard business software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
  • Basic math skills for pricing and quantity calculations
  • Able to prioritize, multitask, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused, dependable, and able to work both independently and in a team
  • Willingness to learn product and industry fundamentals
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and, depending on location, lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work in environments that may include warehouse settings, temperature variation, and potential exposure to hazardous substances

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated base pay: $52,020 per year (estimated)

Location & Work Environment
