Responsibilities
As a Credit Analyst on the Commercial Banking Development Program, you will support credit administration and underwriting for public, non-profit, and affordable housing finance clients. This is an entry-level, hands-on role focused on financial analysis, credit documentation, and preparing materials for lending decisions.
- Spread and analyze financial statements and tax returns; summarize findings in clear written credit analyses.
- Prepare credit studies, loan packages, and reports for Loan Officers and senior credit leadership.
- Perform sensitivity and collateral analyses to evaluate risk under different scenarios.
- Collect and organize credit and collateral documentation; update systems of record and monitor covenant compliance.
- Coordinate with internal groups (treasury, legal, portfolio management) and external parties (appraisers, auditors) to support loan execution and monitoring.
- Monitor loan disbursements and loan-servicing requirements to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) required; completion of an accounting course strongly preferred.
- Minimum GPA: 3.0.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills appropriate for client- and team-facing work.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple assignments with limited supervision.
- Interest in commercial banking, credit analysis, and public/non-profit or affordable housing finance.
- Entry-level role — prior internship or coursework in finance, accounting, or credit is a plus.

- Estimated pay: $62,644 per year (as advertised).
