What You’ll Do
As a Credit Analyst in the Commercial Banking Development Program, you will support credit administration and loan decision-making by preparing financial analyses, maintaining borrower records, and producing credit documentation used by loan officers and senior credit leadership.
- Support the Credit Administration team by collecting, organizing, and analyzing company financials to assess creditworthiness and ensure compliance with bank policies.
- Spread and maintain financial information for current and prospective customers.
- Perform sensitivity and ratio analysis to evaluate credit risk and prepare credit studies and in-depth reports with recommended action plans.
- Produce loan packages for new and restructured loans, including collateral and covenant analysis.
- Coordinate with internal groups (treasury management, legal, underwriting) and with third parties (appraisers, field auditors) to facilitate due diligence, reporting, and loan disbursements.
- Communicate with clients to resolve operational or compliance inquiries.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; completion of an accounting course is preferred.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including comfort with financial statement analysis.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills appropriate for an entry-level role.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
- Interest in launching a career in commercial banking and credit analysis.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay: $36.30 per hour (hourly rate for hires in San Francisco area; salary determined by specific job location).
- Role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives.
