Role overview

Confidential Client is seeking a CREATE Mental Health Worker to join a year-round, evidence-informed program supporting children and adolescents (ages 3–21) diagnosed with autism. The role focuses on group social skills, emotional regulation, and practical strategies that increase social communication, problem solving, and flexibility across settings.

What You’ll Do

• Review behavior plans and client documentation to understand needs and goals.
• Deliver therapeutic supports as outlined in treatment plans, including crisis intervention, immediate behavioral reinforcement, emotional support, time-structuring, and psychosocial/rehabilitative activities.
• Monitor and document client progress on goals and objectives; complete required forms and reports on time.
• Support curriculum and lesson-plan development and daily room/program setup.
• Assist with program outcome data collection and basic analysis.
• Communicate consistently with families and the treatment team about client progress and needs.
• Provide immediate assistance and safe interventions in crisis situations.
• Participate in required training and clinical supervision; provide administrative support for clinical programming as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related behavioral health field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and families in mental health, education, child welfare, or juvenile justice systems (CASSP systems preferred).
• Experience implementing behavior plans and supporting social skills programming for children/adolescents, ideally including work with autism spectrum disorders.
• Strong written documentation skills and ability to meet deadlines for required forms.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with families.
• Calm, safety-focused approach to crisis intervention and behavior management.
• Valid authorization to work in the U.S.

• Location: Eastwick, PA (work performed onsite)
• Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated annual pay (as posted): $30,483 per year — estimated.
