Cost/Price Analyst (Manufacturing/Aerospace )
The Cost/Price Analyst in the manufacturing/aerospace sector is responsible for analyzing pricing strategies by evaluating customer value, market competition, and company costs to support business profitability and long-term planning. The role involves continuous process improvements, product market analysis, pricing recommendations, and managing discount and exception pricing processes to optimize pricing structures and support decision-making across divisions.

What You’ll Do
- Proactively analyze pricing and cost data to support product, program, and divisional decision making.
- Recommend pricing actions based on customer value, competitive market analysis, company cost structures, and profitability objectives.
- Design and implement continuous improvement techniques to streamline pricing and costing processes.
- Analyze product markets to determine ceiling and floor prices and quantify price sensitivity.
- Evaluate relationships among pricing, volume, cost, competition, distribution and segmentation; recommend appropriate price levels.
- Support divisions with list pricing, standard discounts, rebate strategy, and communication/publication of price changes.
- Review and recommend structure for exception pricing: guidelines, approval authority levels, and controls.
- Prepare clear written analyses and present findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Access.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Project management experience; sales/marketing exposure is a plus.
- General understanding of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Compensation & Logistics
- Pay rate: $30.00 – $42.00 per hour (W-2)
- Assignment type: Contract — 18+ months (temp-to-hire)
- Shift: 1st shift
- Location: Medley / Doral, FL area (local onsite work expected)
