Overview
Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Cost Analysts to join their Accounting & Finance team in Trammells, TX. This role supports cost analysis across manufacturing, subcontracting, logistics, and inventory. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, analytically minded, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze manufacturing, subcontracting, logistics, and duty-related costs.
- Track actual costs vs. standard costs and budgets; prepare variance analyses.
- Support monthly cost reports, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Assist with inventory cost tracking and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Collaborate with factory, supply chain, finance, and operations to ensure accurate costing.
- Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly across teams and present findings to stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Mandarin (Chinese) language proficiency — highly preferred due to regular communication with teams in Asia.
- Prior internship or coursework in cost accounting, inventory costing, or financial analysis.
Compensation & Logistics
- Estimated pay: $104,535 per year (estimated salary shown on source posting).
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Location: Onsite in Trammells, TX (local candidates preferred).
