What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level eCommerce Copy Coordinator (Copywriter Junior) to create clear, accurate, and customer-focused product copy for an online retail catalog. This is an onsite, full-time role based in Vandalia, OH.

  • Produce high-volume product descriptions and short-form copy under guidance from Product Copywriters and the Copy Supervisor.
  • Translate product specs, features, and benefits into customer-friendly, benefit-driven language.
  • Accurately enter and maintain product information in the content management system and the Copy Tool.
  • Follow established copy standards, style guides, and the Copy Manual to ensure consistency and quality across product pages.
  • Review product imagery for accuracy and compliance with content guidelines; flag and help resolve image or data issues.
  • Research product categories and retail trends to keep copy relevant and SEO-aware.
  • Collaborate with copy leadership and cross-functional teams to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
  • Obtain approvals and complete assigned projects on time; support special projects as assigned.

Who You Are (Required & Preferred Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience or coursework in copywriting, content creation, eCommerce, retail, or merchandising is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and digital content best practices preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high-volume, repetitive tasks while maintaining quality.
  • Good written communication skills and ability to learn product knowledge quickly.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $26.00 per hour (hourly; weekly paycheck).
  • Shift: Onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, EAP, commuter benefits, and 401(k) eligibility where applicable.

Workplace & Location

  • Onsite role in Vandalia, OH (Vandalia, OH 45377).
  • This position supports an eCommerce/catalog team for a retail client; regular onsite attendance is required.
