What You’ll Do

The Coordinator, Human Resources will support the HR team with day-to-day administration across the employee lifecycle. This is a hands-on role that helps keep HR operations running smoothly and supports employee experience initiatives across the agency.

  • Support full employee lifecycle activities from pre-hire through off-boarding
  • Initiate and manage new-hire administration and onboarding tasks
  • Generate and track IT/setup tickets for new hires to ensure proper access and equipment
  • Conduct weekly new-hire orientation sessions and manage first-day communications
  • Create and maintain confidential employee personnel files
  • Manage HR team calendars and scheduling in Microsoft Outlook
  • Process employee data changes in Workday (pay changes, data updates, referrals, internal transfers)
  • Coordinate terminations and ensure systems and internal teams are notified
  • Hold weekly HR office hours to assist employees with general HR questions
  • Support diversity, training, talent development, and engagement initiatives in partnership with leadership
  • Assist Talent Acquisition with local career fairs, internship program coordination, and recruitment admin
  • Support facilities, remote-work logistics, and space coordination with office management and IT
  • Assist with special projects such as agency events, charity initiatives, and company meetings

Qualifications

We encourage candidates who meet most of the following to apply:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent relevant experience). HR-related degrees or HR internship experience preferred
  • 0–1 year of HR or administrative experience; internships or agency/media environment experience is a plus
  • High proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Experience with an ATS or HRIS such as Workday is a plus
  • Familiarity with media, marketing, advertising, or communications industries preferred

  • Work model: Hybrid — based in Burbank, CA (on-site required at least three days/week as noted by client policy)
