Program Overview
Confidential Client is recruiting for a Contracts Leadership Development Program (CLDP) — a 36-month, entry-level rotational program designed to launch careers in contracts management. The CLDP combines hands-on rotational assignments, leadership and technical training, tuition assistance for graduate study, and mentoring to accelerate professional growth. Rotations align with major program lifecycle phases (R&D, EMD, Production & Sustainment) and commercial/contract operations, providing broad exposure to contracts work across multiple business areas.
What You’ll Do
- Complete three 12-month rotations focused on contracts management and contract operations.
- Support contract formation, administration, compliance, and performance across DoD and commercial programs.
- Learn and apply contracting policies, FAR/DFARS basics, and procurement lifecycle procedures.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (program management, finance, engineering) to negotiate terms and support program milestones.
- Prepare contract documents, assist with solicitations and proposals, and track deliverables and obligations.
- Participate in leadership and professional development coursework; receive mentorship and feedback from experienced contracts professionals.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (business-related focus or liberal arts preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership (student orgs, athletics, military service, internships, or work experience).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High motivation, initiative, and capacity for hard work.
- Willingness and ability to relocate for rotation assignments (minimum of two different geographic locations required across the program).
- Internship, co-op, or related project experience is a plus.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance (candidate must be eligible).
Locations & Travel
- Primary rotational sites include Nashua, NH with program opportunities across multiple U.S. locations such as Merrimack, NH; Hudson, NH; San Diego, CA; Austin, TX; Wayne, NJ; Endicott, NY; Fort Wayne, IN; Manassas, VA; and other Confidential Client sites as available.
- Rotations begin in June 2027.
- Remote-based work may be available for some assignments, however remote assignments do not count toward the required geographic mobility.
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-Time Salary Range: $56,401 - $95,881 (range reflects market pay structures; final salary considers experience, location, and internal equity).
- Benefits for regular employees scheduled 20+ hours/week typically include health, dental, and vision insurance; HSA options; 401(k); disability and life insurance; employee assistance programs; and paid leave (vacation, holidays, parental, military, bereavement, and applicable state sick leave).
- Tuition assistance is offered to support graduate education (Master’s/MBA) — fees, books, and approved tuition expenses may be eligible.
