Overview

Confidential client is hiring a Contract UX Designer to join a high-visibility Retail Public Sites modernization initiative. This is a 6-month, hybrid contract based in Malvern, PA focused on delivering elegant, user-centered web and product experiences that clearly communicate offers and services to investors and customers.

What You’ll Do

You will contribute to program-level design efforts and deliver compelling UX artifacts that support product, marketing, and business goals.

• Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes for responsive, component-based interfaces
• Partner with strategists, researchers, content designers, product managers, and engineers to shape solutions
• Use lean methods to move design work quickly from concept to production readiness
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data, research findings, and stakeholder feedback to guide design decisions
• Apply design thinking to craft simple, intuitive, and delightful customer experiences
• Present and defend design solutions to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Coordinate with IT project teams to align on implementation behavior and accessibility expectations
• Work with project managers on schedules, deliverables, and handoffs
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience designing web or product interfaces
• Strong wireframing and visual design skills within a component-based, responsive design practice
• Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Abstract, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Experience using both quantitative and qualitative data to inform design choices
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills; ability to get buy-in in larger organizations
• Demonstrated ability to lead design work from concept through delivery
• Online portfolio or case studies with recent work strongly preferred

• Pay rate: $55.00–$57.00 per hour (as provided by the client)

• Experience on large-scale public website or retail modernization programs
• Familiarity with component libraries and design systems
• Prior collaboration with engineering teams on implementation and accessibility standards
