What You’ll Do

• Build and enhance WebCompat dashboards for triage, reporting, and metrics to speed decision-making.
• Improve and maintain the broken-site-report screenshot capture and processing pipeline.
• Translate reporting and triage needs into reliable tools together with the WebCompat team, including QA.
• Automate data collection and reporting tasks; integrate web services and data sources for dashboards.
• Instrument and monitor tooling to ensure reliability and measurable improvements in triage throughput.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong web development skills: JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Server-side experience with Python and Django or equivalent web frameworks.
• Experience building dashboards, data views, or reporting systems.
• Comfortable with tooling, automation, and web services integration.
• Self-directed, able to work remotely with clear written communication.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Employment type: Contractor (as stated).

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with WebCompat workflows and Bugzilla or related bug-tracking systems.
• Experience building or maintaining screenshot/automation pipelines.
• Experience collaborating with QA teams on tooling and automation.
