What You’ll Do

Step into a role where precision, organization, and service excellence matter. As a Contract Compliance Representative I, you will support public-sector contract operations by maintaining contract records, monitoring performance for compliance, preparing reports, assisting with bids, and acting as a departmental liaison to resolve contract-related issues.

  • Develop and maintain the contract database; update statuses and key metadata for active and archived contracts
  • Create and maintain templates and documentation standards for contract reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance with terms and conditions; document and report non-compliance
  • Review, analyze and interpret contract data requests and prepare clear, data-driven reports
  • Evaluate existing municipal contracts for opportunities to increase revenue or expand services
  • Coordinate with Legal and other stakeholders on contract language revisions and contractual negotiations
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, complaints, and disputes between departments, vendors and contractors
  • Support preparation of bids, proposals, and contract renewals as needed
  • Serve in an entry-level advisory capacity on contract questions within Area Public Sector Services

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field; OR High school diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with databases or contract management systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare clear reports and summaries
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Operations, and Finance
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred

  • Experience with municipal or public-sector contracts, procurement, or compliance
  • Experience creating report templates and managing recurring reporting cycles
  • Basic understanding of contract law or municipal procurement rules

  • This role primarily operates in a professional office environment and uses standard office equipment (computer, phone, copier).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated base pay: $66,331 per year (estimated). This figure is provided by the source posting and may be an estimate.
