Role overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Content Associate to support corporate communications and content programs focused on business and technology topics within the global insurance industry. This role is open to entry-level and experienced candidates; hiring will be based on writing ability, research skills, and overall fit. What You’ll Do

  • Write and copy-edit press releases, social media posts, marketing collateral, website copy, and other public-facing materials.
  • Draft, develop, and edit articles, interviews, presentations, slideshows, and industry-facing content.
  • Research, compile, draft, and copy-edit white papers, reports, and thought leadership pieces using original and secondary research.
  • Conduct thorough factual research on business, technology, insurance, and related industry topics.
  • Collaborate with researchers, writers, designers, senior leaders, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality print and digital content.
  • Publish and help promote content through social and digital channels, tailoring tone and format to different audiences.
  • Assist in creating internal communications, executive presentations, and corporate messaging.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, grammar, tone, and brand consistency across all materials.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and support cross-functional special projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • Open to entry-level applicants and experienced professionals; 2–3 years of professional experience preferred.
  • Strong research, writing, proofreading, and copy-editing skills.
  • Excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and written English.
  • Ability to translate complex technical or business topics into clear, concise, audience-appropriate content.
  • Comfortable writing for a variety of channels (press, web, social, presentations).
  • Ability to create professional, on-brand social and digital content.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
  • Proactive, curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in insurance, finance, financial services, or technology industries.
  • Prior work on thought leadership, white papers, or industry research.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and basic social media publishing.

Compensation & Details

  • Salary: USD 65,000 – 95,000 per year.
  • Employment type: Permanent, Full-time.
  • Location: Lionshead Lake, NJ (on-site).
