Role Overview
Confidential Client is seeking a part-time Consumer Services Coordinator to provide information, advocacy, and service arrangement for consumers and families. This community-based role focuses on person-centered planning, case coordination, documentation, and advocacy for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
What You’ll Do
- Participate in the development, monitoring, and revision of individualized program plans.
- Identify, coordinate, and arrange services for consumers and families.
- Prepare and maintain required documentation, forms, and reports in accordance with regulations and client policies.
- Serve as an advocate with community agencies and service providers.
- Schedule and attend interdisciplinary meetings with consumers, families, providers, and advocates.
- Identify barriers to service delivery and implement culturally sensitive solutions that emphasize empathy, trust, and respect.
- Perform officer-of-the-day rotations, assist co-workers with special projects, provide case coverage, and offer emergency on-call support as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or a related human services field AND at least 2 years of related experience.
- A Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for the experience requirement.
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of family systems and person-centered planning.
- Ability to empower individuals to achieve goals through collaborative planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Proficiency with MS Word and MS Outlook.
- Comfortable working in community and non-traditional office settings.
- Bilingual Spanish may be required for certain positions or highly preferred.
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation, or an acceptable substitute.

Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $26.86 - $37.96 per hour.
- Bilingual services stipend: $69.24 per bi-weekly pay period (when applicable).
- Starting salary is typically between $26.86 and $29.65 per hour, depending on experience and internal equity.
