What You’ll Do
This community-focused, part-time Service Coordinator role supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing information, advocacy, and service arrangement. You will work directly with consumers, families, and community providers to develop, monitor, and revise person-centered program plans.
- Participate in the development, monitoring, and revision of individualized program plans
- Identify, coordinate, and arrange services for individuals and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete required forms and reports in line with policies and regulations
- Advocate for individuals with community agencies and service providers
- Schedule and attend interdisciplinary meetings with consumers, family members, providers, and advocates
- Identify barriers to service delivery and implement culturally sensitive strategies
- Rotate officer-of-the-day duties, support colleagues on special projects, provide case coverage, and respond to emergency on-call needs as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or a related human-services field and at least 2 years of related experience (a Master’s degree may substitute for experience)
- Demonstrated understanding of family systems and person-centered planning
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Word and MS Outlook
- Bilingual Spanish may be required depending on the position
Compensation & Schedule
- Employment type: Part-time
- Base pay range: $26.86 - $37.96 per hour
- Bilingual stipend: $69.24 per bi-weekly pay period (when applicable)
- Typical starting salary for new hires: $26.86 — $29.65 per hour (final offer depends on education, experience, internal equity)

Location & Additional Requirements
- Job location: Quartz Hill, CA — this is a community-based role requiring visits to homes, community locations, and occasional office work
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation (or acceptable substitute) required
- Comfortable working independently with frequent telephone, virtual, and out-of-office meetings
- Candidates should be prepared to work in underserved and non-traditional settings and to apply culturally sensitive approaches
