What You’ll Do
Confidential client seeks a part-time Consumer Services Coordinator (Bilingual preferred) to provide person-centered service coordination, advocacy, and care planning for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this community-facing role you will partner with consumers, families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to connect people to supports that help them meet their goals.
- Participate in development, monitoring, and revision of individual program plans.
- Identify and coordinate services and community resources for consumers and families.
- Complete documentation, forms, and reports in accordance with regulations and organizational policy.
- Serve as an advocate and liaison with community agencies and service providers.
- Schedule and attend interdisciplinary meetings with consumers, families, providers, and advocates.
- Identify barriers to service delivery and implement culturally responsive solutions.
- Rotate “officer-of-the-day” duties, assist with special projects, provide case coverage, and participate in on-call/emergency support as required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach and regular in-person or virtual contacts with individuals served and their families.
- Maintain accurate case records and timelines; follow regulations and confidentiality requirements.
- Apply person-centered planning and family systems approaches to support consumer goals.
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up with service providers, schools, health systems, and community partners.
- Escalate and document critical incidents and ensure appropriate follow-up per policy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related human services field plus at least 2 years related experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently in community and office settings, and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities and person-centered planning.
- Bilingual Spanish skills may be required depending on position assignment.
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation, or an acceptable substitute, required.

- Comfort working outside traditional office settings (home visits, community meetings).
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain professional boundaries.
Compensation & Schedule
- Part-time, non-exempt position.
- Pay range: $26.86 – $37.96 per hour, plus a bilingual services stipend of $69.24 per bi-weekly pay period (when applicable).
- Typical starting pay for new hires: $26.86 – $29.65 per hour, dependent on experience and internal equity.
- Most positions offer a hybrid/remote option where appropriate; frequent community-based work is required.

Location & Travel
- Position is based in Los Angeles, CA. Travel throughout assigned service areas is required.
- Must be able to meet with individuals in homes, community locations, and office sites as job duties require.
