The Opportunity

As an entry-level Consulting Analyst (Undergrad) based in Englewood, CO, you will gather data and produce basic analyses that support project teams across financing, buy-side and sell-side diligence, and various power-technology engagements. You will work on multiple, fast-paced engagements under the guidance of team leads and engagement managers.

  • Contribute to production of client reports and deliverables
  • Perform data collection, basic quantitative analysis, and documentation
  • Support financial and technical diligence for power and energy projects
  • Work toward annual billable hours and engagement objectives
  • Operate as an individual contributor with mentorship and regular oversight

Key Responsibilities

  • Consulting capability
    • Use recognized methods to deliver work products under supervision
    • Contribute to reports, slide decks, and analysis deliverables
    • Pursue engagement objectives and support continuous improvement of methods and tools
  • Industry knowledge capability
    • Conduct basic analyses and distill key issues for assigned subject areas
    • Apply appropriate technical or analytical methods to complete assignments
    • Provide informed input based on developing industry knowledge and seek necessary approvals
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet established billable targets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Internship or work experience on an engineering project or in an engineering consulting environment preferred
  • Preferred skills
    • Ability to develop functional or technical knowledge in at least one target industry
    • Ability to develop technical knowledge in at least one solution area
    • Decision-making skills that consider multi-dimensional issues
    • Strong collaboration and teamworking skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software
    • General PC literacy and applied knowledge
  • Preferred consultant attributes
    • Business acumen
    • Comfort interacting with senior management
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity and learn quickly

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science, preferably in business, math, or engineering, OR relevant business experience
  • 0–2 years experience in a business or consulting environment
  • Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding (which may include background checks, drug screen, motor vehicle records search) in compliance with applicable laws

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days based on manager discretion, performance, and job assignments
  • Position is entry-level; you will receive structured mentorship and on-the-job learning opportunities

Compensation & Benefits

In accordance with local law, the annual compensation range for this role in Englewood, CO is:

  • $75,350.00 - $99,194.00 per year
