The Opportunity
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Consulting Analyst (Transactions) to support transaction advisory and diligence engagements in the Engineering sector. You will gather data, perform basic quantitative and qualitative analyses, and support preparation of client deliverables for buy‑side, sell‑side and financing transactions across power and infrastructure technologies. This is an early-career role with regular guidance from engagement leads and exposure to multiple fast-paced projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Use recognized consulting methods and standard tools to produce work products under supervision
- Collect, cleanse, and summarize financial and technical data for transaction diligence
- Contribute to preparation of reports, slide decks, and financial models
- Support financing, buy‑side and sell‑side diligence tasks across power technologies
- Work on multiple engagements and pursue engagement objectives to meet deadlines
- Contribute ideas to improve methods, templates and tools
- Track time and meet billable-hour targets as established in annual goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (for recent graduates)
- Internship or other project experience in engineering, energy, or consulting environments
- Familiarity with financial analysis, transaction diligence, or valuation concepts
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to learn quickly and develop functional or technical knowledge in a target industry or solution area
- Business acumen, comfort interacting with senior stakeholders, and ability to work with ambiguity
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts or Science (preferably in business, math, engineering) OR relevant professional experience
- 0–2 years of experience in a business or consulting environment
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (which may include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search), in compliance with applicable laws
Work Environment
- Hybrid or flexible work options may be available after the first 90 days based on manager discretion, performance and assignment needs
- Individual contributor role with no direct reports
- Travel or on-site client work may occur depending on engagement requirements

Compensation
In accordance with Colorado pay transparency laws, the annual compensation range for this position in Cherry Hills, CO is:
- $75,350 — $99,194 per year
Total compensation and benefits depend on experience, location and role type.
