What You’ll Do

Join the client’s Government & Public Services practice as a Cyber Strategy Analyst focused on supporting cybersecurity-related transformation initiatives. In this entry-level consulting role you will help teams assess cyber risk, recommend improvements to security posture, and support change efforts that align cybersecurity with organizational goals.

  • Support client engagements by gathering and analyzing security-related data, producing clear findings, and presenting actionable recommendations.
  • Assist in designing organizational and operational changes to improve cybersecurity resilience.
  • Use tools, methodologies, and accelerators to help project teams deliver on strategic objectives.
  • Conduct research on cyber threats, controls, and best practices to inform client recommendations.
  • Prepare polished deliverables (briefings, reports, charts) with attention to quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Help lead small workstreams or tasks and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, templates, and repeatable approaches that scale across projects.

The Team

You will be embedded in a Government & Public Services practice serving federal, state/local, higher education, and nonprofit clients. Teams blend strategy, operations, and technology skills to improve mission outcomes. Expect a collaborative culture with mentorship, on-the-job learning, and opportunities to specialize in cyber strategy and related areas.


Qualifications — Required

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university (expected graduation by Summer 2027) OR have completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Security, Mathematics, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Reside within a commutable distance (e.g., ~100-mile radius) of the assigned office and able to commute daily if required.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% on average.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
  • At least 18 years of age at time of employment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high standard for quality deliverables.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; manage competing priorities; and build professional relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.
  • Internship, project, or coursework experience in cybersecurity, computer science, data analytics, information security, risk management, or related areas.
  • Demonstrated interest in consulting or public-sector cybersecurity challenges.

Compensation & Additional Info

  • Estimated salary range: $88,000 — $91,000 per year. This range reflects a reasonable estimate and may vary based on experience, skills, certifications, and office location.
  • This is an entry-level consulting role with opportunities to build client-facing and technical skills.
  • Recruiting for this role ends on 07/26/2026 (candidates should apply promptly).
  • This role requires the ability to obtain/maintain security clearance, frequent travel (~50%), and the ability to work on-site when required.
