Overview

Confidential Client is looking for an entry-level Cyber Strategy Analyst to join their Government & Public Services practice in Stratmoor Hills / Colorado Springs, CO. This role supports cybersecurity and transformation initiatives for public-sector clients, helping strengthen security posture, reduce risk, and deliver measurable outcomes.

What You’ll Do

Confidential Client hires Cyber Strategy Analysts to contribute to client engagements that involve cybersecurity strategy, risk reduction, and organizational transformation. As an Analyst you will:

• Support project teams with research, data analysis, and technical assessments
• Help develop recommendations to improve security posture and reduce risk exposure
• Use tools, methodologies, and accelerators to support transformation initiatives
• Prepare clear deliverables: presentations, briefings, technical notes, and status reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cyber initiatives with business goals
• Engage with client stakeholders to collect requirements and validate findings

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cybersecurity research and baseline assessments
• Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and risk areas
• Assist in designing pragmatic, measurable remediation steps
• Support the development of policies, playbooks, and governance artifacts
• Contribute to client workshops, interviews, and working sessions
• Track tasks, manage priorities, and support project deliverables on time

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate expected to graduate by Summer 2027, or completed bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Security, Mathematics, Risk Management or equivalent)
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Reside within a commutable distance (e.g., ~100-mile radius) of the assigned office with ability to commute daily if required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
• Willingness to travel up to 50% on average
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on teams
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

• GPA of 3.4 or higher
• Internship, project, or coursework experience in cybersecurity, computer science, data analytics, information security, risk management, or related fields
• Familiarity with security frameworks, basic threat modeling, or common cyber controls

• Location: Stratmoor Hills / Colorado Springs, CO (postal code 80901)
• Employment type: Full-time
• Estimated salary range: $88,000 to $91,000 (annual). The range reflects factors such as skills, experience, and local geographic differentials.
