Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Cyber Analytics Analyst to support public sector engagements in the Government & Public Services (IT) space. This role transforms data into actionable insights through quantitative and qualitative analysis to help clients improve mission outcomes, performance, and cyber posture.
What You’ll Do
As a Cyber Analytics Analyst you will:
- Support research, statistical analysis, and data management to inform client decisions.
- Transform raw data into clear, defensible findings and visualizations.
- Contribute to analytic deliverables used by client teams across strategy, operations, and technology.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop recommendations and support implementation.
- Support workstreams and lead smaller project tasks or analyses under senior guidance.
- Maintain high attention to data quality, documentation, and reproducibility of analyses.
- Communicate findings clearly in written reports and client-facing briefings.
Who You Are / Qualifications (Required)
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university expected to graduate by Summer 2027, or a holder of a bachelor’s degree or higher in Analytics, Applied Math, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Able to reside within a commutable distance (approximately a 100-mile radius) of the assigned office and commute daily if required.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% on average, depending on client needs.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- At least 18 years of age at time of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.
- Internship, project, or coursework experience in analytics, applied math, computer science, data science, statistics, or related technology fields.
- Experience with data analysis tools, scripting (Python/R), SQL, or visualization platforms is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present analytic results to non-technical audiences.
Team & Environment
You will join a Government & Public Services practice team focused on public sector transformation, technology, and cyber analytics. Teams work collaboratively across specialties and offer mentoring, training, and exposure to diverse client problems in the public sector. This is an entry-level consulting opportunity designed to build technical and client-facing skills.
Location, Travel & Work Conditions
- Primary work location: Fort Myer, VA (postal code 22212). On-site presence may be required based on client engagements.
- Travel: Up to 50% on average.
- Work authorization and security clearance requirements apply as noted above.
Compensation
- Estimated annual salary (per public posting data): $77,050 (estimated). Actual compensation will vary based on experience, skills, location, and other factors. The disclosed figure is an estimate and may be adjusted for geographic differentials and other considerations.
