Confidential Client’s Government & Public Services practice is hiring an entry-level Cyber Analyst (Consultative Offerings — Government & Public Services). This is an analyst-level consulting role that supports transformation initiatives, improves client performance, and helps organizations manage cybersecurity risk. The position is based in Rosslyn, VA and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

What You’ll Do

Confidential Client seeks cyber-focused Analysts to join client service teams and support cybersecurity workstreams across government and public sector clients.

• Identify, assess, and help remediate vulnerabilities in systems and networks
• Support threat detection and monitoring efforts
• Assist with incident response and forensics tasks, under supervision
• Help design and implement security controls and risk mitigation recommendations
• Contribute to compliance and risk management activities
• Prepare clear, professional deliverables and communicate findings to team members and clients
• Collaborate across strategy, operations, and technology teams to drive measurable client outcomes

Qualifications — Required

• Bachelor’s degree (completed) or current enrollment in an accredited college/university with expected graduation by Summer 2027 in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Security, Mathematics, Risk Management, or equivalent
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Must reside within a commutable distance (e.g., ~100-mile radius) of the assigned Rosslyn, VA office with ability to commute as needed
• Ability to travel up to ~50% depending on client needs
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship now or in the future
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred

• 3.4+ cumulative GPA preferred
• Internship, coursework, or project experience in cybersecurity, computer science, information security, data analytics, engineering, or related fields
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and quality in deliverables
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
• Team-oriented attitude with ability to take direction and lead small workstreams

Confidential Client’s Government & Public Services teams serve federal, state/local agencies, higher education, and nonprofit organizations. Teams work across strategy, transformation, operations, and technology to improve mission outcomes. Analysts will be supported through mentorship, hands-on client work, and opportunities to develop a specialized consulting profile.

Compensation & benefits

• Estimated pay range: $88,000 to $91,000 per year (reasonable estimate; final offer depends on experience, skills, and internal policies)
