What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Cyber Strategy Analyst to support public-sector and government-focused transformation initiatives. In this role you will help analyze cyber risk, support project teams with tools and methodologies, research threats and controls, and deliver actionable recommendations that strengthen security posture and reduce risk. This role is an excellent opportunity to build consulting skills through hands-on client work, collaboration, and exposure to strategy, operations, and technology projects.


Responsibilities

  • Support client engagements that address cybersecurity strategy, resilience, and transformation
  • Conduct risk assessments, threat research, and gap analyses
  • Prepare clear, high-quality deliverables, briefings, and recommendations
  • Use tools, accelerators, and methodologies to drive client outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across strategy, operations, and technology
  • Communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Help lead small workstreams or contribute as an individual contributor on larger projects
  • Manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications (Required)

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university (expected to graduate by Summer 2027) or have completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Security, Mathematics, Risk Management, or a closely related field
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must reside within a commutable distance (approximately a 100-mile radius) of the assigned office with the ability to commute daily if required
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average, depending on client needs
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build professional relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • GPA of 3.4 or higher
  • Internship, project, or coursework experience in cybersecurity, data analytics, information security, or related technical areas
  • Prior exposure to consulting, client-facing teams, or transformation projects

Compensation & Location

  • Estimated base salary range: $88,000 to $91,000 per year (disclosed range estimate)
  • Location: Rosslyn, VA (postal code 22209). This role requires commutable proximity to the assigned office.
  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Travel: Up to 50% on average
  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance
