Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Cyber Strategy Analyst to join its Government & Public Services practice in Portland, OR. This role supports cybersecurity transformation initiatives, helps assess and reduce risk exposure, and contributes to client-facing engagements that strengthen security posture and resilience.

What You’ll Do

As a Cyber Strategy Analyst, you will be a core member of client project teams supporting cybersecurity, technology transformation, and operational improvements. Typical responsibilities include:

• Support client engagements to assess cyber risk, security controls, and resilience posture
• Leverage tools, methodologies, and accelerators to deliver analysis and recommendations
• Collect, analyze, and synthesize technical and operational data to drive actionable outcomes
• Prepare clear client deliverables (reports, briefings, slide decks) and present findings to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across strategy, operations, and technology streams
• Assist in project management tasks, prioritize workstreams, and help keep deliverables on schedule
• Contribute to development of frameworks, playbooks, and repeatable approaches for cyber strategy work

Who We’re Looking For — Required Qualifications

This is an entry-level opportunity intended for candidates beginning or building a career in cybersecurity consulting.

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university with expected graduation by Summer 2027 OR hold a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Security, Mathematics, Risk Management, or an equivalent program
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Must reside within a commutable distance (e.g., ~100-mile radius) of the assigned Portland office and be available to commute daily if required
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (required)
• Willingness and ability to travel up to ~50% depending on client needs
• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• GPA of 3.4 or higher
• Internship, project, or coursework experience in cybersecurity, computer science, data analytics, information security, engineering, or risk management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and professional demeanor
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in teams and manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
