What You’ll Do
A tech‑savvy, AI‑ready Cyber Analyst who helps protect digital assets, supports client cyber strategy, and contributes to cybersecurity resilience. You will assess systems and networks for vulnerabilities, support monitoring and incident response, help implement security controls, and provide clear, actionable recommendations to reduce risk.
- Develop and assess cyber programs to align with strategic objectives and risk appetite
- Implement processes and technologies to manage regulatory, privacy, and data risks
- Enhance application, cloud, and IoT security and support vulnerability management
- Support cyber monitoring, analytics, crisis management, and incident response
- Advise clients on regulatory, operational, and strategic risk management
- Assist with attack surface management and ERP platform risk reduction
- Contribute to technical documentation, analysis, and solution design for emerging technologies

Required Qualifications
This is an entry-level opportunity intended for candidates beginning or building a career in cybersecurity.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Spring/Summer 2027 with a bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the listed majors or an equivalent program

- Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required; 3.2 cumulative GPA preferred)
- Must live within a commutable distance to the assigned office (approx. 100‑mile radius) with ability to commute daily if required upon start
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average based on client needs
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at time of employment
Preferred experience/skills (helpful but not required for entry-level candidates):
- Familiarity with cloud and application security practices
- Exposure to vulnerability scanning, incident detection/response, and security monitoring
- Basic scripting or data‑analysis familiarity (for security analytics tasks)
- Interest in attack surface management, ERP security, and securing emerging technologies (IoT)
Location, Compensation & Work Type
- Location: Costa Mesa, CA (on-site / commuter-friendly; travel required as noted)
- Employment type: Full-time / Permanent
- Compensation: The source posting includes an estimated figure of $146,030 per year and notes a reasonable wage estimate of $85,000. Compensation decisions depend on skills, experience, location differentials, certifications, and other business factors. Our client will provide final compensation details during the hiring process.
