What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an AI & Data Engineering Analyst to join a Government & Public Services practice focused on technology-enabled transformation. In this role you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI solutions — including chatbots, virtual assistants, machine learning models, and cognitive services — that help public-sector clients make data-driven decisions and improve mission outcomes.

  • Architect, design, develop, and deploy AI and data engineering solutions across the full ML/AI lifecycle
  • Build and integrate chatbots, virtual assistants, and cognitive services into enterprise systems
  • Translate business problems into technical solutions using advanced algorithms and data engineering best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional consulting teams (strategy, operations, technology) to deliver measurable client value
  • Contribute to solution design, documentation, testing, and deployment pipelines
  • Communicate technical choices and tradeoffs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support project planning and can lead workstreams as required
  • Follow security, compliance, and data privacy requirements (ability to obtain/maintain U.S. security clearance required)

Team & Environment

You will work on a collaborative client-service team that supports government agencies, higher education institutions, and nonprofit organizations. Teams span strategy, operations, and technology; analysts gain exposure to multiple client environments and have structured development paths to build consulting and technical expertise.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university expected to graduate by Summer 2027 OR completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Computational Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or related field
  • Strong academic track record (minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA)
  • Must reside within a commutable distance (example: within a 100-mile radius) of the assigned office and be able to commute daily if required
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average for client work
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • At least 18 years of age at time of employment

Preferred:

  • 3.4 cumulative GPA preferred
  • Internship, project, or coursework experience in AI, machine learning, data science, data engineering, or robotics

This is an entry-level role designed for candidates beginning or building a career in AI and data engineering within the public sector.

Compensation & Recruiting Timeline

The client has provided an estimated salary range for this role: $100,000 to $103,000 per year. Recruiting for this role closes on 2026-09-23. Actual compensation will depend on candidate experience, skills, and other factors.
