Position overview

Confidential Client is seeking an Associate, Construction Surety for an entry-level, two-year Associate Program based in Alpharetta, GA. This is a full-time role designed to accelerate your development in construction surety underwriting through hands-on assignments, cohort learning, technical training, mentoring, and executive engagement.

What you’ll do

As an Associate in the Construction Surety program you will:

  • Support underwriting teams with day-to-day surety account tasks and dual underwriting processes
  • Participate in cohort-based group assignments to build cross-functional experience
  • Complete technical training and on-the-job development to learn the surety product, appetite, and marketplace
  • Contribute to financial analysis and basic financial acumen development for account review
  • Work on challenging assignments that directly impact team results
  • Build relationships across the organization through executive engagement and mentoring
  • Receive coaching from managers and former Associates to develop workplace skills and professional judgment

Qualifications

To be considered, you should meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (multiple majors considered)
  • GPA of 3.0 or above required
  • Preferred: prior work experience such as internships, summer jobs, or part-time roles
  • Preferred: leadership experience (work, community service, athletics, clubs, etc.)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based sponsorship
