Position overview
This confidential client is seeking an organized, customer-focused Construction Project Manager to join an on-site, growth-oriented construction team in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will manage project schedules, budgets, safety, quality and subcontractor/vendor coordination to deliver projects on time and within scope.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee project costs, schedules, safety, quality, and on-site efficiencies
- Review proposals and scope to determine required processes, materials, labor, and timelines
- Perform material takeoffs and peer-review takeoffs for quality control
- Evaluate vendors, obtain quotes, and assess cost/value tradeoffs
- Prepare submittals, track approvals, and ensure contract compliance
- Create and manage RFIs and change orders through project closeout
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in construction management or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of project management experience in construction (commercial or related)
- Familiarity with project management, estimating, and spreadsheet software is a plus
- Ability to work both in an office environment and on active construction sites
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
