Construction Estimator (Entry Level)

What You’ll Do
This entry-level Construction Estimator role will support the preconstruction and estimating teams for commercial construction projects. You will work on tasks that build core estimating skills and provide exposure to bidding, procurement, and cost management.
- Assist with quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications
- Support preparation of project estimates and bid proposals
- Review plans, specifications, and other bid documents
- Solicit and track subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Help analyze subcontractor quotes and compare bid coverage
- Maintain estimating spreadsheets and bid documentation
- Assist with budgeting and preliminary pricing exercises
- Coordinate with project teams during preconstruction activities
- Participate in project handoff meetings after project award
- Learn industry best practices related to bidding, procurement, and cost management
Who You Are — Qualifications
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Building Science, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and an eagerness to learn estimating practices
- Positive, team-first mindset and professional work ethic
Nice to have:
- Internship, co-op, or prior construction experience
- Exposure to commercial construction projects
- Familiarity with Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), or estimating software
- Experience working for a contractor, subcontractor, or construction management firm

- Location: Glendale, CO (onsite) — full-time, in-office role
- Employment type: Full-time, permanent
- Pay range: $65,000 — $140,000 per year (final offer depends on experience, location, and qualifications)
