What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Construction Estimator to support preconstruction and estimating activities for commercial projects. You will work alongside experienced estimators and project teams to learn how projects are priced, bid, and awarded.

• Assist with quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications
• Support preparation of project estimates and competitive bid proposals
• Review plans, specifications, and other bid documents for scope and clarifications
• Solicit, collect, and track subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Help analyze subcontractor quotes and compare bid coverage
• Maintain estimating spreadsheets and organize bid documentation
• Assist with budgeting and preliminary pricing exercises
• Coordinate with preconstruction and project teams during bid preparation
• Participate in project handoff meetings after award and learn best practices in procurement and cost management

Qualifications

Must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Building Science, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong interest in building a career in construction estimating

Nice to have:

• Internship, co-op, or prior construction experience
• Exposure to commercial construction projects
• Familiarity with Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, On-Screen Takeoff (OST) or other estimating software
• Experience working for a contractor, subcontractor, or construction management firm

Work Environment & Schedule

• Full-time, onsite position based in Cherry Hills, CO
• This is a permanent role with hands-on training and mentorship from estimating and project teams
• Regular business hours with occasional requirements to meet project or bid deadlines on-site

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $65,000 — $140,000 per year. Actual pay will depend on qualifications, experience, location, and other job-related factors.
