Position Overview

Confidential Client, a commercial construction company, is seeking an Entry Level Staff Accountant (Construction Accountant) to support financial operations. This is a full-time, in‑office role based in Bogart, GA, with a clear path toward increased responsibility and future accounting leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction accounting activities across multiple projects
• Process construction-related invoices and maintain accurate financial records
• Perform job cost coding and monitor project costs
• Administer construction accounts payable and vendor payment processes
• Review and maintain Certificates of Insurance (COIs), lien waivers, and vendor compliance documentation
• Track paid‑when‑paid payment requirements
• Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 1–3+ years of accounting experience (construction or project accounting experience a plus)
• Demonstrated interest in growing into accounting leadership within a construction environment

• Estimated base salary: $89,294 per year (estimated)
