What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level COMSEC Technician to support cryptographic security operations onsite at Davis Monthman AFB. You will help maintain the integrity, accountability, and operational readiness of COMSEC materials and equipment per NSA/CSS and Air Force directives.

• Maintain the cryptographic security program in accordance with NSA/CSS and Air Force guidance
• Receive, store, distribute, account for, and destroy cryptographic materials and publications
• Manage key fill devices and cryptographic equipment accountability
• Conduct daily, monthly and annual physical inventories of COMSEC items
• Maintain accurate accountability records and process cryptographic incident reports
• Perform preventive maintenance and operational checks on COMSEC equipment
• Coordinate key changes and equipment installations with base users
• Maintain COMSEC facility security standards (storage, alarms, access controls)
• Process and maintain personnel security records related to COMSEC access
• Coordinate cross-installation key distribution and equipment transfers
• Prepare for and support external COMSEC inspections and assessments
• Ensure compliance with all applicable security regulations

Qualifications

To be considered, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility (required for interview)
• Security+ certification
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred; OR a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a COMSEC environment may be considered in lieu of a degree
• With a degree: at least 1–2 years of COMSEC experience to be considered
• KMI Certification (preferred)
