Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Computer Science / Software Engineer based in Cranberry Township, PA. This role supports engineering teams delivering mission‑critical energy projects. You will design, implement, test, and maintain software components while collaborating with cross‑functional engineering groups.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to the design and development of software systems that support energy/engineering programs.
• Write clean, maintainable code and unit tests; participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects in collaboration with engineering and test teams.
• Document designs, implementation details, and test procedures.
• Work with systems engineers to integrate software components into larger systems.
• Follow secure development practices and engineering quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in software development (internships and co‑op experience count).
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to work on site in Cranberry Township, PA (as required by the project).
