Compensation & Employment Type
- Salary: $80,000 - $150,000 per year (range provided by client)
- Employment type: Contract / Full time
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required
Responsibilities
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft and/or Palantir platforms.
- Analyze datasets and present findings through clear, compelling visualizations and data storytelling techniques.
- Transform complex datasets into actionable insights to support government and military leadership decisions.
- Support data collection, validation, and preparation for analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business needs.
- Help maintain data quality, consistency, and accuracy across reporting solutions.
- Respond to ad hoc reporting and analytical requests.
- Document analytical processes and provide user support as needed.
- Learn and apply Department of Defense data management and governance practices.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Entry-level experience (0–2 years) in data analytics, business intelligence, or data visualization. Academic, internship, or early professional experience is acceptable.
- Experience creating dashboards and reports using Microsoft or Palantir platforms.
- Understanding of data visualization principles and ability to communicate insights via storytelling.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Army logistics operations and Army Vantage.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- Basic SQL or Python experience for data analysis.
- Internship or project work supporting government or defense organizations.
