What You’ll Do
The Compliance Clerical Assistant supports the Compliance & Risk Management department with clerical and administrative tasks to help maintain accurate, confidential compliance records and to support audits and reporting activities.
- Provide accurate data entry for compliance and HR records
- Prepare and format documents, correspondence, and compliance packets
- Organize, file, and maintain confidential records (electronic and paper)
- Assist with audit preparation and evidence collection
- Track and update compliance logs, spreadsheets, and task lists
- Support routine reporting and regulatory documentation tasks
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams for records requests
- Undertake other administrative projects as assigned
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in HR support, administrative assistance, or related clerical role
- Familiarity with HR and payroll processes, benefits administration, onboarding, and basic employment law concepts (FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEO)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to learn HRIS/talent systems quickly
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently following established procedures
Hours, Duration & Compensation
- Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Temporary assignment: approximately 6 months, with possible extension based on department needs and performance
- May occasionally require evening or weekend hours
- Hourly, non-exempt, non-union
- Pay range: $17.26 – $22.04 per hour
Employment Requirements & Compliance
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Employment contingent on satisfactory background check and pre-employment drug screen (upon conditional offer)
- Successful completion of a 500-hour probationary period may be required
- Candidates should be prepared to provide documentation for any veteran preference claims, if applicable
