The Compliance and Data Analyst coordinates quality, performance, and incident management functions within the Standards & Compliance division to ensure adherence to federal, state, and accreditation requirements. This role manages data systems, conducts compliance assessments, supports incident review and root cause analysis, and collaborates with clinical and operational teams to sustain continuous improvement and regulatory readiness across the facility.

What You’ll Do
- Coordinate facility-wide quality, performance management and incident management functions to support regulatory readiness and continuous improvement.
- Conduct compliance assessments, chart audits, tracers and mock surveys to evaluate adherence to federal, state and accreditation standards.
- Manage and maintain compliance and incident databases, enter incident reports, and track corrective actions through to resolution.
- Support root cause analysis and investigation processes; prepare and present findings and recommendations to clinical and operational teams.
- Develop, review and update policies and procedures to ensure alignment with licensing, certification and accreditation requirements.
- Produce regular performance and compliance reports, dashboards and metrics for leadership and regulatory stakeholders.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on incident reporting, incident response, documentation and corrective action processes.
- Facilitate survey readiness activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement preventive measures and quality improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in any field and at least one (1) year of experience in investigations, regulation, policy, statutory, and/or contract compliance. (Any combination of related education and/or direct experience totaling five (5) years may substitute for the required education and experience.)
- Skilled in data analysis, database management and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel); experience with performance-tracking tools and dashboarding.
- Knowledge of corrective action planning, root cause analysis and incident reporting processes.
- Experience performing chart audits, program assessments, tracers and mock surveys.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report development and presentations.
- Ability to interpret regulations, policies and standards and translate findings into practical corrective actions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and datasets.
Requirements & Working Conditions
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Salary range: $27.37 - $41.06 per hour (approximately $56,931 - $85,396 annually). This role is posted as Pay Band C7.
- Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico driver’s license and obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate.
- Work is primarily performed in an office setting with extensive computer and phone use; may require lifting up to 30 pounds.
- The facility is a 100% Tobacco Free/E-Cigarette Free Campus.
- This position will support facility committees and may require occasional travel across campus for audits, surveys and meetings.
