What You’ll Do

The Compliance Analyst will act as the project compliance expert across a portfolio of government-funded construction projects. Working with a specialist compliance team, you’ll help ensure projects meet regulatory and contractual compliance objectives.

  • Protect the organization and trade partners by enforcing federal, state, and local prevailing wage laws, union rules, and PLA requirements
  • Generate, certify, and submit certified payroll reports (CPRs) for company craft employees and review subcontractor CPRs timely and accurately
  • Collect and review prevailing-wage-related documentation for the company and trade partners
  • Cross-check payroll submissions against project documents to confirm correct wage payments to craft workers
  • Collaborate with project teams and corporate leadership on process improvements and compliance issue resolution
  • Support complex prevailing-wage investigations and third-party audits
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure appropriate access controls
  • Track and help meet worker utilization and small-business subcontracting goals to create community economic opportunity
  • Resolve internal audit findings quickly
  • Manage project compliance start-up and close-out tasks
  • Conduct weekly on-site worker interviews as required
  • Travel locally to one or more project sites as needed
  • Perform other compliance-related duties assigned by project or compliance leadership

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Highly motivated, organized, and able to manage time across competing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and reliable output
  • Fast learner who performs well under pressure in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with federal contracting, labor regulations, and FAR regulations is a plus
  • Alignment to client standards such as: self-motivated, results-oriented, adaptable, accountable, ethical, team-oriented, and resilient
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) preferred, or comparable work experience in compliance, payroll, or construction-related administration

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Primarily desk-based work with prolonged sitting, computer use, and document review
  • Occasional travel to active construction sites — may include exposure to outdoor conditions, louder noise, and moving equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • Must follow all site safety policies, procedures, and applicable laws
  • This role may require flexibility for extended hours during critical project phases

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $60,000–$75,000 (as listed)
  • Total compensation may include bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package (health/dental/vision, PTO, retirement/401(k) plan, life insurance, disability, FSA, tuition assistance, EAP, and other employee support programs)
  • Pre-employment fitness-for-duty screening and periodic testing may be required by our client
