Position summary

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Commercial Technical Training Lead to support delivery, development, and continuous improvement of industrial automation training programs. This role delivers instructor-led and virtual technical training, supports customers and partners, helps develop courseware and labs, and contributes to business growth in assigned territories. Travel up to 50% is required. This is a full-time, permanent U.S.-based role in Galena Park, TX.


What You’ll Do

Confidential Client’s Commercial Technical Training Lead will:

  • Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and blended Industrial Automation and Foxboro technical training.
  • Facilitate hands-on labs, demonstrations, and practical exercises.
  • Prepare training materials, lab environments, and software configurations.
  • Support learners before, during, and after sessions and respond to technical questions.
  • Collaborate with sales, services, and customers to identify learning needs and training opportunities.
  • Assist with customer quotations, proposals, and the commercial aspects of training engagements.
  • Collect learner feedback and contribute to course and delivery improvements.
  • Support multi-region scheduling and training across time zones.
  • Contribute to courseware development, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience configuring, implementing, maintaining, or supporting industrial automation systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present technical concepts clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach or explain complex technical information in an engaging way.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities across teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DCS, SCADA, PLC, HMI, or other process automation technologies.
  • Prior exposure to technical training, coaching, mentoring, or instructional delivery.
  • Familiarity with EcoStruxure™, Foxboro, or similar industrial automation platforms.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing technical solutions and training programs.

Compensation & Benefits

For U.S.-based candidates, the expected pay range for this full-time position is USD 68,000 - USD 102,000 per year (includes base pay and short-term incentives). Actual pay is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location.
