What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level Commercial Real Estate Analyst role supporting commercial valuation and appraisal work for a Confidential Client. You will learn on the job while contributing to valuation assignments used in appraisal reports and other valuation services.
- Work closely under a licensed senior appraiser to collect and validate property and market data
- Build and maintain real estate valuation and financial models to support appraisals
- Conduct market surveys, research comparable transactions, and verify property transaction details
- Manage multiple assignments from intake to final deliverable with attention to quality and deadlines
- Perform a mix of desk-based analysis and periodic fieldwork (property inspections)
- Use proprietary databases, public records, mapping tools, and reporting templates to document findings
- Communicate results clearly to senior appraisers and project teams
Who You Are / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related discipline
- 1–3 years of commercial real estate experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong quantitative skills encouraged)
- Strong quantitative ability and experience building valuation or financial models
- Proficient with MS Excel and MS Word
- Comfortable using web-based mapping tools; Argus Enterprise experience is a plus
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to exercise sound judgment
- Able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture
- Reliable high-speed internet for occasional remote work to meet assignment deadlines
